Sometimes you lose your focus; in the name of good works you take on too much and everything can become quite complicated. I found this wonderful scripture the other day and wanted to share:
“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.” 1 Thes 4:11-12
I want to remember how important it is to keep my priorities straight, to lead a quiet life, mind my own business and work with my hands utilizing my special gifts from God.
There are lots of areas in life that need to be kept straight. Yesterday, shooting photos back at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, I discovered that even gravestones need to be straightened. At least military gravestones.
So for those folks who might have lost their focus and lost sight of what their business is and their priorities have gotten all wompeyed, take my advise, step back, visit what is important.
Your life will work much smoother and conflict will not be able to get a grip.
